Carta Regalo
Una sera in dono
An evening here can be given: a card for any of the menus, a cell for the night, or the whole liturgy from aperitivo to congedo. Handwritten, posted in an envelope that smells faintly of beeswax, valid a year.

For the press: the same address, subject “Stampa”.
From Alba, 55 minutes by the SP 32; from Torino, 1 h 50. The last four kilometres climb through eleven bends — the road is lit from the valley floor, and on fog evenings you will break above the cloud at the ninth bend. Allow the extra ten minutes the view will take.
Parking inside the walls, with charging for electric cars. Transfer from Alba by arrangement when you reserve.
Le dieci domande
Come as the evening asks. The sala is candlelit stone and most guests dress softly up — but the only rule of the house is comfort that respects the room.
Welcome, truly — with a shorter office of hours on request. The room holds one rhythm, so Sunday lunch is the easiest hour for the smallest guests.
L’ORTO is the garden’s own menu, vegetal by birth and priced as an equal. Fully plant-based needs 72 hours’ notice, so the kitchen can rewrite without seams.
All fourteen declared allergens are handled in this kitchen. Tell us when you book; the menus are rewritten quietly and never announced at the table.
The book opens on the first of each month, ninety days ahead. Saturdays and the cells go first; Wednesdays keep a little slack for the spontaneous.
€150 per guest with the confirmation, released on arrival. Cancellation is free to 72 hours; after that the deposit becomes a Carta Regalo — evenings are never lost, only moved.
Small dogs are at home in the chiostro and the celle. The sala belongs to the room — and to the thirteen tolls.
The road is lit from the valley floor and the climb is short. You will likely break above the cloud at the ninth bend — that moment is half the reason to come in autumn.
Six guests an evening descend with Pietro, by candle — before dinner, or between the eleventh and twelfth toll. Ask when you reserve.
Sunday only. The same menus, the valley usually white below until the coffee — a different liturgy, the same bell.
